Do i have to show the consul bout' our bank statement and land title for my sons interview in the us embassy?

ive read in the website of the us embassy that we have to show them documents to prove that my son has a compelling reasons to return to the philippines.in regards to these documents, we dont have any of these documents since we are only supported by my in-laws in the US.my son will just be a tourist in the US for a month what should I do?

  1. well those reasons should involve any property you own, and his school information, but the bank statement is needed to make sure he has the money to pay for his trip. illegal immigrants are great problem here. thats why they are really strict. you better get those documents cause they easily refuse visas:)good luck!

The idea is that each traveler is supposed to be able to show that they are going to travel to the USA for a short time, then return home.  One way of helping to show this is proof that you can afford your trip, and have a good reason (job, family, house) to get back to.  Proof of income, your house, etc. can help.

    BUT (and this is very important) do NOT be tempted to have someone produce fake documents to satisfy this.  They usually figure out if the documents are fake, and then not only will you not get the visa, but you'll never be able to travel to the US.  

    Blonde's right:  it can be tough to qualify for a visa, but the best you can do is explain your situation truthfully.  Resorting to a "fixer" never works.
