Do i have to take preparation classes for GED test and whats the difference between having GED and ..?

im 17 now i was officialy discharged from my high school and i have 3 options going back to high school and starting again from 10th grade,going to nigh school or taking the GED and i decided that i want to take the GED

do i have to take those prep.classes for GED??? i did some research and i pretty much know all the requirement im going on Tuesday to talk with my councelor at my Hs to get more info about it

  1. If you feel confident in your ability to pass the tests, go for it.

    OTOH, Those prep classes do more than high school ever does in terms of sheer information transfer to a student. The GED books are better written than any high school text. If there is anything you are weak on, a prep course might be worth your time.
