Do i have to take the act to go to a cal state?

i took the sat and did very well, but i'm not sure if i should take the act

If you did very well on the SAT skip the not so good Cal States and head to a UC!

you don't have to, you only need  one of 'em (ACT or SAT), however taking both is always better...

No.  If you did well on the SAT, there is no reason to take the ACT.

you can if you want they look at whichever one you send. you can send both.
