Do i meet my unit for Army reserve before i leave for basic?

I have gone to MEPS signed my contract know what unit ill be in, in Nashville but do i go to a drill before boot camp or do i just meet them and do it all after Osut training?

  1. Army doesn't have boot camp, they have Basic Training. You will meet your unit after you are through with basic.


  2. the guard does atleast once before they send you to BCT but as for the reserves ive heard that (rarely) some people go there for one weekend like the guard but usually you wont until your done with AIT/OUST

    but since they didnt tell you then i would assume you dont have to
