  1. it depends how long the engine is sitting. gasoline will damage the plastic and rubber components in the carburetor.

  2. No you don't. If you're using it during the summer months, don't worry about it. If it spends a lot of time inside in the winter, you might want to think about draining the carbs, but it truly isn't necessary as long as you have some good stabilizer in the fuel when it hits the engine. I've been working on these things for a long time and have seen it all...but your answer is no, you don't have to. Good Luck!

  3. I think it is a good idea as I assume you are disconnecting from the tank and just letting the engine burn what is in the lines.

Beware of the any fuels with ethanol in them.  Many areas use ethanol and aren't requiring labels to identify it.

Ethanol has a very short life span and actually absorbs water.  This is becoming a bigger problem as states are starting to require E-10 which is up to 10% Ethanol.

  4. No, if you are using it on a regular basis don't worry about it.

I also like a product called SeaFoam. I run it in all my boats, trucks, and toys, it helps keeping things clean.

  5. It depends on how long it will be until you use it next. If you are going out the next day or so, don't worry about it. If it will be longer than 2 days, burn it out just to be on the safe side. It is much easier to prevent carb problems than to solve them.

  6. It is a good Idia to run it out every time, you never know how long it will set untill you use it again, all it takes is a few Pumps on the ball and go, or Dang why wont it start.
