  1. Hello Abigail,

I am assuming you have items that only needS two pin plug for their use, like shavers, tooth brush chargers, telephone chargers and whatever else you may have to use a two pin plug for, so my advice love,is to take an adapter anyway, and then you won't be sorry you didn't..Ireland works on the same system as they do in England which is a 13 amp plug with 3 pins on it, and your 2 pin plug fits into the 2 pins at the bottom of the socket. ( the single pin at the top of the socket, being for items that need, the earth pin). These 2 pin sockets are available from tescos, or any good electrical shop... I hope this helps you out and you have a nice stay in my country..........Bye  ...............Tony M

  2. No , we might have the Euro, and use km on the road, but we still have 3 pin plugs..

    enjoy your stay

  3. No, same as the UK. - Having said that, they had both kinds in the hotel I stayed at last weekend.

  4. nope, u dont need a two pin adapter for ireland - they use three pins :)

  5. If your appliances have only two pins, then, yes, you will need an adapter as most sockets here are 3 pin.
