Im under 16 years old.

Im moving to Kansas, and when Im there Im going to get my Learners Permit.

A few months after moving to Kansas, I will move to Virginia. I will be receiving my Drivers Liscence in Virginia.

Could I get a Drivers Liscence in Virginia with the Learners Permit from Kansas or do i need to have a Virginia Learners Permit?

  1. When you move to Virginia you shouldn't have any problem getting the Drivers License with an out of state permit. but you have to have your residence in VA to get it but usually you have to keep your permit for 1 year before you can turn it in for a license

  2. Your Kansas Learning Permit should transfer to VA, and you will be able to get your Driver's License.
