Do i need a VISA to holiday in Aus and Nz?

hoping to go to each place for a month and a half, do i need a VISA even though i dont intend to work?

You must have a visa to visit Australia for any reason or for any period of time. They're very easy to get and as you're from the UK, you will be able to get an online ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) virtually immediately.
