Do i need a comp for wireless internet on the psp.?

i want to get internet on my psp. i know i need to get a wireless router but can i use the wireless router with a internet connection to get internet on the psp without the pc.

well, the internet is a really big space and for the psp to format the internet server is really hard, I;m sorry but you can still try to do it with the cable
