you need a credit card to register to itunes....

You can start in I-tunes account with a gift card.  I buy them regularly for my daughter to keep her expenses (uh really my expenses) limited.

As for the Limewire suggestion...I highly advise you to NOT do that, you will eventually be caught because it IS stealing, and viruses run amok on that platform and will cause major problems with your computer...
