Try using a VDA unit (Video Distribution Amplifier) after the digital set top box to the older style analogue televisions.

They are available from most large high street shops dealing in TV etc.

Yes but they are fairly cheap.  I got mine from Argos  for £16 and it is great.

No. You will only need the digital converter boxes for the tvs that are analog. IF you have 1 digitaltv, and 2 analog, you will only need two boxes. Every tv that is analog will need it's own converter box.
