  1. Well it helps keep your clubs from getting knicked up and from making dinging noises when you walk and your clubheads shake back and forth. you might look stupid but if your headcovers are ugly just buy new ones that look good.

    try buying headcovers from teameffort.com

  2. No you do not need a headcover for your clubs.  But if you plan on reselling your clubs, it may be useful to keep them undinged.  I actually think people who dont cover thier clubs are pretty cool, shows that you dont care if your clubs get jacked up you just love the game.

  3. It helps keep them in better shape.  Just go to a golf course and say you lost a few and when they show you the lost and found just pick a couple.  I really don't think its that big of a deal.

  4. If you don't care about your equipment or how scratched up your clubs get then no you don't need them.  But they are not for looks, they are to protect the clubs when removing and replacing in your bag and from scratches and dents as you take your irons in and out of the bag.

  5. get covers if you want to keep your clubs from scratching the paint off of each other when you are driving or walking the course, if you don't care about that kind of damage, then save your money for something else,

  6. it is possible to dent the crown of your woods, so it's probably a good idea.  you also wanna keep them lookin nice, so if I were you, I'd get some covers.

  7. Head covers are merely cosmetic. If you don't mind your woods being a bit scratched on the top of the club head then save your money. However, you will eventually get a set of head covers. Most new woods you come with a head cover.
