Do i need a higher output alt for this system?

Question

Soon I will be getting 2 15" kicker l7's and a kicker zx2500.1 to power them, and I'm planning on getting an Optima yellow top battery as well. But my stock alt is only 55amp output, and the highest output alt i can find for a '91 Mazda B2200 is 60amp. So should I keep my stock alt, go with the 60amp alt, or keep looking for one with a higher output than 60amps?

with that many watts you will need something bigger, there are shops out there that can install two alternators under the hood with special/custom mounts (but you will pay out the a** for it)

have you called you local alt. shops to see if they can rebuild yours? if the answer is still only 60a, then go with two of them.

that's pretty said they only go that high. my cavalier came with a 120a and i got it rebuilt to 180a for under $200.

don't lat anyone talk you into getting a cap, that will be a watse of money that could go towards the alt. kinda pointless if you couldn't power it up in the first place.
