  1. Your passport is fine!  All you will do is fill in a form they give you on the plane, asking where you are staying, the purpose and if you are a terrorist etc.  Nothing to worry about!

  2. You're best off applying for a new passport, as I think the US only let you in with a chip visa now!  Better to be safe than sorry - also, you need at least 6 months left on your passport to travel.

You don't need a visa to visit the US on holiday from the UK.

  3. U'll be fine once the passport is not gonna expire within 6 months of ur arrival in Florida.

U will get a temporary holiday visa which u fill out the card for on the aeroplane or at the airport. Don't worry, its easy.

    Have fun, its great there!

  4. Your passport will be fine as long as it hasn't expired, you won't need a visa to visit as the USA has a visa waiver where you can holiday in the country for a maximum of 3 months, hope this helps, and have fun!

  5. You current passport will be fine to travel at the moment so dont rush to go and change it.

With regards to visas as long as you are not staying over 90 days then you can enter the USA on the waiver. You fill in a green card on the flight before you land. The only thing I will advise you is that if anyone going has ever been in trouble with the police even for minor traffic offences then they will need to apply to the USA embassy for a visa. They are getting very strict with this and if they check at the airport in the states and you haven't declared this then they will send you straight back.

Most people will advise that if you have had minor offences not to declare them but I have known several people who have been turned away.

The states are great and I am sure that you will have a great time.

  6. No you are not going to need a new passport you are going to need a visa thats all

  7. as long as your passport has not yet expired, you should have not problems.  when you get back from this trip, apply for a renew of your current passport.

    have a great trip!

  8. Go Florida or anywhere other 49 states in America If u re  us citizen well, you renew it before 2 year it expires.

By 2008, the next generation of identification documents will be ready, and all travel across the border will require documents. By 2010, it is unlikely that any border crossing will be legal without a biometric RFID document of some sort, even a daytrip to Canada.RFID chips issued by the U.S. government are supposed to be encrypted.

if you uk citizen. then The plan calls for a standalone biometric ID card to be issued alongside a biometric passport. It would most likely become compulsory for everyone living in the U.K., including children, by 2010.

  9. You will fill out a green card form on the plane before you land.

Your passport must have 6 months either side to be allowed in.  (i.e. it must be at least 6 months old or have 6 months left on it)

  10. You should be ok if you have more than 6 months unexpired on your pasport. You don't need a visa.

  11. You are asking a question without supplying all the details.  How can your passport be "old" if it expires in 2010?  As long as it's a valid passport you can use it.  Passports are being updated however any existing passports are valid and can be used until their expiry date.  As for the visa requirements, that question is impossible to answer unless you tell us your country of citizenship and country of origin.  There is an online tool that you can access to answer questions of this nature.  The system is called Timatic and is maintained by IATA.  Just answer all the questions from the drop-down menus and it will advise you of the travel requirements.

  12. UK citizens do not need a visa to travel to the USA on holiday, but there are restrictions and requirements.

Your passport also must meet certain requirements and you need to find out if it does.  Get a new passport if it does not meet the requirements:

Hope you have a greeat trip!
