  1. Yes, you need a passport to get into Mexico. You can get apply for dual citizenship only under certain guidelines; it is not easy, you may have had to had lived there, own land or have relatives there. My friend has dual citizenship in Italy but her family is from there and they own property there, she was born in America though. You will probably have to take a test anyway and the test is not easy.

  2. Now you do. It didn't use to be that way before the patriot act. All you needed before was your birth or baptism certificate. I know because I used to travel to Mexico & the Caribbean that way.

  3. Yes, I needed one when I went to Playa del Carmen

  4. Yes you will need a passport if you are a US citizen to enter Mexico and it's surrounding countries.

No you cannot have dual citizenship in the US and if you apply for dual citizenship in Mexico it won't be recognized in the US.

  5. YES OF COURSE SO U CAN COME BACK. I MEAN YOU DON'T WONT TO LIVE OUT THERE DO U!!!!!!!!

  6. yes now you need a passport. and no, duel citizenship is not an easy thing to get right now. especially with all the border control things going on. they are however looking into granting american citizens new liscenses that will act also as passports so we won't have to carry both around with us anymore :)
