  1. You will need government-issued ID (i.e. a driver's license) plus proof of US citizenship (i.e. a birth certificate).

    This will change sometime this summer; after that, you will need a passport.


  2. "tonalc" is right...passports are not yet needed for cruises...however, some cruise lines have their own requirement for passports.  best to call them and ask their policy.
