Do i need a passport to flying from BUFFALO to ATLANTA?

im sixteen, i live in canada and i will be driving to buffalo to fly from there to atlanta.

do i need a passport for ANYTHING during my trip

how much are passports and how do you get them

You shouldn't need a passport- yet.  But to be on the safe side take your birth certificate along with a photo id to get over the border when you drive into Buffalo.  Passports in the US cost about 100 bucks I think, but you'll have to do some research to see how much they cost in Canada.  

Sorry, you can't get them at the Galleria and leave the empty box in the parking lot.

but you do need govt issued PHOTO id.

passports are only for international travel.  youre on a domestic flight, so it's not necessary if you' dont want to use it.

but you can still use it as an ID if you want.

No, you travel inside the U.S.  Therefore, the passport is not needed.  What you need is the government issued ID.
