Do i need a passport to go on a cruise to the bahamas?

Even if you were a citizen, it would be wise to get a passport, especially if the cruise is making any stops on land.

you should always have your passport when you travel abroad it..makes life simpler

Yes if you are coing out of the country u always need one.

i went  on a cruise last year which made 4 stops one being the bahamas. and i was never asked for a passport

I went on a cruise to the Bahamas last September and you will need a passport.

You don't need one for Puerto Rico. I see advertisements saying that you don't need one.

It would probably be a good idea to have a passport :)
