Do i need a passport to go to amsterdam?

I have an austrailian passport but i have lived in the uk all my life (21 yrs).

Im planning a holiday to Amsterdam soon and am wondering do i need a valid passport to go to Amsterdam or do u not even need a passport to travel there?

  1. You will need a passport, which is valid for at least 3 months after the intended stay in the Netherlands.

    You will NOT need a visa.

    So make an appointment with the Australian High Commission to get your passport re-validated.

  2. Yes of course.  Even British people with British passports would need one to get to the Netherlands.  So most definitely!

  5. Yes, if you still have Australian citizenship and just that passport you will need to use that to enter the Netherlands. Passport requirements are based on citizenship.
