  1. bmibaby only require photo id(anything)

  2. If your traveling to Southern Ireland from England you need at least a certified form of photo id.Your drivers licence, or if you dont have one, it will have to be a passport. My family live in Cork, its lovley.I'd call the airport to get a definate answer, its your best bet.

  3. You will some form of photographic ID.  Phone the airline to double check....

  4. Yes u need

  5. yes you need a passport.

  6. No, put you will need a photo id ,

  7. You do not need a passport to travel to the Republic of Ireland however a number of airlines require you to have photographic ID and this must be in the form of driving License or passport they will not accept work, student, bus pass etc it has to be a recognised form of ID so really your only choice of ID is photo driving License or Passport There was a Police Officer with his warrant card in the queue I was in and Ryan air refused him travel so be careful best to take the License or passport

  8. I don't think so, after all you're travelling from one European country to another. Carry some ID though.

  9. It is advisable to take it. I needed mine when I went to Dublin. In fact I seem to remember someone who was in the checkin queue in front of me being refused a boarding pass until they produced their passport.

A precautionary measure by the Airport Authorities I think. Nothing sinister anyhow..

  10. I don't think so but you will need identification (i.e. a driving licence). Check with the tour operator to be sure though.

  11. No you don't as long as you are a UK or EU citizen. You will need some form of photographic ID though, so a passport is as good as any. Contrary to what an earlier respondent stated, UK citizens can not travel to other EU countries, other than Eire, without a current passport. All to do with Maggie not signing up to the Mastrict Treaty.

  12. It depends on who you travel with.  Some companies require a passport some only need photo id such as a driving licence or student id card as proof.

  13. Yes.

  14. under e.u. law if you are an e.u. citizen short answer no. but it is always advisable to carry a passport for proof of i.d.
