  1. ya i think you do now xx

  2. No,you don't need a passport!

  3. NO JUST SOME OTHER ID WITH YOUR ADDRESS ON.

  4. No you do not need a passport, at least not with Aer Lingus or British Airways, although you do need photo ID (they list the acceptable forms with your booking information). The "Ireland Act 1949", passed by the British government in response to the Republic declaring independence, states (and I quote) "the Republic of Ireland is not a foreign country" for the purposes of British law. So they treat flights to the Republic as "domestic flights". My dad and I flew from Dublin to Heathrow and back just before Christmas, my dad's passport was expired so he used his driving licence.

Bottom line: check with the airline you want to buy the ticket from. Some airlines allow just photo ID, some want passports.

  5. You do not need a passport to travel from the republic of Ireland to anywhere in the UK.

It is advisible, however, to carry some form of photo ID. Your Driving Lic. will be fine.

do not confuse what is legally required with what some airlines require.

  6. I don't think you do.  Any other form of ID should be OK.

  7. i dont think you will need a passport, scotland is part of the uk. [i think] and you can travel between ireland and the uk. without a password, but you will need id. such as a drivers liecence or birth cert.I  traveled to birmingham recently with just my liecence .

  8. Since you arent in the UK, you will need a passport.

  9. It depends how you are travelling. Some airlines demand passports as ID. Check the airline website and see.

If you're going on the ferry your driver's licence will be fine.

  10. Yes you do! Infact you need a passport to travel from county to county in Ireland.

  11. dope

the republic of ireland is a seperate country

    you will need your passport.

  12. You can travel between the UK and the Republic without having a passport.

  13. Yes you do.

  14. get a passport ..everybody needs one... unless you plan on never going anywhere...
