Do i need a permission letter from my parents to travel with my uncle. Im flying from Philadelphia to chicago?

If you are a minor you might want to have your parents grant him a temporary power of attorney for health decisions in case of a disaster where it would be vital to have decisions made quickly.  If you are really young, under 12, the airline may have rules about what permissions you need to fly withthem.

I assume that you are under 18.  It is a great idea to carry a permission letter complete with your date of birth and all contact and health insurance information:  They might start the letter with: I give permission to whomever is in posession of this letter to obtain medical treatment for our son ______. I have always done this for my children and it works well. Make sure it is signed and dated by a parent.
