  1. In the UK, you need a provisional licence with the CBT (compulsory basic training) certificate and the theory test.

Letting a 14 year old ride such a scooter is illegal. Full stop. If he rides it on the road, he can be arrested as can the father, so I'd tell him (or turn him in if you dont get on very well!).

Hope this cleared things up x

  2. Not in the state of Nevada. I found the my information at the Nevada Department of motor vehicles which states it motor can not be larger than 49 cc and/ or be able to exceed 35 miles an hour. Check with your states dept. of motor vehicles for the answer.

  3. Depends on where you live ! Check with the Highway Patrol Office !!

  4. In Canada you don't.

  5. Depends on state. Most states you at least have to be 16, if not have your regular license. If your neighbor lets his son drive it, that's his choice, but I'd say there's about a 95 percent chance that its not legal. I drove a Yamaha 80cc Scooter when I was 15 everywhere. It was properly registered and insured, however it was 100 percent illegal for me to do that. You are not going to get pulled over in a 50, you can't speed. I had trouble keeping up with traffic on a 2 stroke 80cc, which would blow the doors off even a 4 stroke 150cc. It went about 55mph...I still have it in my parents garage...you might make me go register it...
