Do i need a special licence to operate a cb in canada?

a couple ppl have told me that i do and a cuple tell me i dont so i was wondering about it

If you are asking about a "Citzens Band Radio "  no licence is  now required in Canada.

Many years ago ( 1970's ) there was a CB radio  licence and you  had to use your XM number in your  call sign.  That is long gone now. Buy install and yak.

You do because you need additional insurance coverage.   You are now classified as a professional driver as you are hauling cargo and people cargo can sue your pants off 5x's over and win every time.  Go to the motor vehicle branch, as you must be retested as well to obtain a higher class license.  FIRST  before you can legally operate a cab anywhere in Canada.
