Do i need a visa going to dublin with my leave to remain permit from UK?

  1. if you are not an eu citizen I think the answer is yes.

    a couple of chinese students were deported back to the UK last year I think because they did not have a visa for Ireland.


  2. Dublin isn't UK, your leave to remain is useless there... If you need a visa will depend on your own nationality. Ireland is EU..

  3. Check in with the Irish embassy in London. They will give you a straight answer.

  4. It depends where you're from. I can tell you that I neede a visa to come from Romania to Ireland and we are not allowed to leave the country during our stay.

    besides, Romanians need a visa for Britain as well.

    Britain and Ireland are not in the Schengen space, so only people from the EU can travel here without a visa.

  5. no you dont even need passport ,,you can use a driving license  or id card ..your still travelling in europe    thats if you are also european...
