  1. need to know your citizenship

  2. It depends where you are coming from - what Nationality are you?

    See http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/s...

Take the quick check to see whether you need a visitor visa to come to New Zealand, or check out their list of visa-free countries.

  3. Most people don't need one, it depends which country you're coming from.

This site will tell you all you need to know.

    http://www.customs.govt.nz/default.htm

  4. Yes you need a visa. ive seen to many borderline shows where people are sent back to there country cos they dont have a visa

  5. Provided that you have an Australian passport then you do not need a Visa. In fact you can stay for as long as you like and even get a job here if you want.

The only exception is if you have a criminal conviction or have been deported from a country. In that case you need to contact the nearest High Commission or Consulate of New Zealand.

  6. Since you're Australian, no you don't need one. You can also stay here as long as you like visa-free. NZ and Australia have a special agreement with each other, and it works visa versa for NZers in Australia. You can work, holiday or basically do anything here that you can do in OZ.
