  1. If you are a British or EU citizen, then you can work ANYWHERE in the EU ... for as long as you want, and do any job your skills suit.

Great being in hte EU isn't it?

    enjoy!

    Philip

  2. you will need an nie number, easy to get from the cop shop

  3. You need to check this with the Spanish authorities. Click the link below for more information.

  4. depends on what nationality you are ! if you are from an EC

Country you don't need a work permit. but you do have to register as an "Extranjero" No resident permits required now for EC nationals either.

  5. If you are an EU citizen then no. Otherwise you might and you will be better off speaking to your nearest Spanish embassy.

  6. Thank God all that has changed now we are all in the EU so if you are coming from Britain, then your answer is no.

  7. Depends on whether your from an E.U country, if you are then you don´t.  Depends also on whether your job will be legal as here in Spain there´s a lot of places which don´t pay your social security etc.  Get in touch with the Spanish embassy for answers and here in Spain get in touch with the british embassy.  Good luck

  8. It depends what country you are from and if you are going to work legally or not.

  9. to legally work you will need an NIE number, and will have to register for work. on the other hand some places will take you on cash in hand.........good luck

  10. No

  11. No you dont as it is part of the EU,

You may need to get an NIE number if they are going to pay you in to a bank account. Which is very easy to get.

You go to the local police station in Spain fill out a form with a couple of passport photos, Then go back a few weeks later to pick it up.

But if its cash in hand then you wont need that.

Hope you enjoy your time in Spain its a great place

  12. If you hold a British passport, you are allowed to stay in Spain for 3 months anyway as tourist. Whether you work or not I suppose is up to you.
