Do i need active ankles?

During volleyball practice my ankle keeps "cracking" or "popping" do you think i should get some active ankles?

  1. If you don't have any pain when this happens, then I wouldn't be too overly concerned.  Popping usually is simply a build up of nitrogen gas in the joints and when the joint is stretched it's released which makes the popping noise.  It is not deemed to be serious, just one of those weird body things.  However, if you play volleyball a lot, it never hurts to support the parts of your body that you use the most, so feel free to do that also :)
