  1. It all depends...

Do you want it to be legal?

    Where will you be based?

Every jurisdiction has different rules that you must follow if you want to be above board.  It is best to base you operation from Costa Rica or Panama.

  2. Going to violate the wire act.  The gambling and Internet is technically illegal in the U.S., but the laws are so poorly constructed and muddled they don't prosecute people that play in the U.S.- they go after the owners if (and when) they come to the U.S.  Should be expected since it was put on as a last-second rider to an unrelated port act.  Sports book is much more clear.  The wire act was meant to go after the Italian Mob when they were the big boys running the streets.  Sports book going over the Internet and/or the phone and the FBI is the sand box you get to play in.  Ironically, the major Internet sites want to be regulated and taxed; one of those cases where they will earn dollars if they spend quarters.

  3. sorry my man but online betting is outlawed in the u.s.a. mostly cause they couldn't figure out how to tax it.
