  1. well it doesnt really hurt they but this lazer beam over your eye and it tells them if your eyes need glasses or not if you do they wil perscribe something that is right for you--and they dont have to be ugly! its not painful at all and its fast. so if u really need them itll be safe

  2. there are five different Eye Tests none hurt or are invasive.  Just reading and watching things move.

  3. i think you should get an eye exam.i waited along time to get one and ended up needing a strong prescription.Usually, the exam lasts about 10-15 minutes and its painless.Throughout the process, they usually blow a puff of air into each eye,its somewhat strong but not painful,i find it more of a shocker. They will also have you read lines of letters and other simple things like that, the doctor may even dilate your eyes, this is done by putting a drop in each eye. This will make your eyesight blurry and usually takes 2-3 hours to regain your vision.Overall i recommend visiting the eye doctor, its quick and painless.and if you need glasses, picking them out is the best part, there are so many cute pairs.

    Hope this helps.

  4. It's definitely worth checking out, the "worst" thing that they do is put eye drops to relax your eyes so they can get a better reading of how your eyes respond to light. I had to do the same a few years back and I didn't want to "admit" that I needed glasses, it sounds like you're just a little nearsighted just like me. It's really not that bad at all.

  5. If the vision is blur u surely u might be suffering from myopia...ie. problem with distant vision... don't worry.this is very common..get an eye examination done, its absolutely painless. u will have to look into a machine like u see in a binoculars and machine does the rest... u u will be provided with numbers and accordingly that density of glasses would be required to correct your vision.

  6. You should definitely have your eyes checked.

It doesn't hurt, the only part that is bothersome, and I don't now if all optometrists do it or not, is where they blow a puff of air on your eye. Its only for a second. No biggie, trust me you will be happy you went if you seriously need glasses. I can't imagine my life without them.
