  1. Rain gloves are useful if you have to play in the rain.  They are not designed to keep your hands dry per se, but to provide good grip no matter how wet the glove and golf grip get.

  2. I play with half-cord grips, and never wear a glove. The gips play well even in the rain.

I think the grips are the key. If yours slip when they're a little wet, its time to get new grips.

  3. They actually work the opposite of what you would think. The FootJoy Rain Gloves work best when they are wet. The wetter they get, the more tackier they get. You have to put then on and leave then on. Even while putting, just leave them on. At first it's difficult to get used to because you've always tried to keep everything dry but with these gloves you don't have to. They only you'll need to keep dry is the cart seat so you don't get your butt wet.

  4. I use the footjoy rain gloves and not only do they work really well with my dryjoys jacket in waterproofing.  But they stay really tacky when wet.

Put it this way, me and my friend were out last week and it just started pouring.  I had my rain gear and gloves ect.. in my bag and just threw everything on quickly and kept playing.  My friend however got so soaked with his "sub par" rain gear and he left the course.  I kept playing and was fine.

I use the dryjoys jacket/pants/gloves/hat and have waterproof shoes.  Dryjoys is the only way to go in 100% waterproof golf outerwear.

  5. Actually if you are concerned about playing in rain or even humidity, I would focus more on getting new grips that help with this sort of thing.  Winn grips have some really good grips for humidity and rain.
