  1. It's probably a good idea to have some sort of coverage for the vehicle even if you are not driving it just in case it gets stolen, broken in to, or hit while its parked.  If you don't have insurance and this happens, you will have to pay for it out of your own pocket.

Ask your insurance company if you can get cheaper coverage because you aren't driving the car anywhere.  Most insurance companies will give you a discount if you drive less than a certain amount of miles.  I would atleast call your company or compare some quotes online to see how much it would cost to get basic coverage for the car.  The site below is really helpful because it allows you to compare quotes for all of the insurance companies in your area for free.

    Good Luck! Hope this helps!

  2. I would carry liability insurance whether it is driven or not.  If someone gets hurt, (rolls into someone or a kid gets hurt playing around it) You could be liable for a lawsuit.

  3. As far as i know, this is a question with many different answers,it is really depend on the judgement of yourself, provide a great resource here for reference though.http://car-insurance.easyideas4u.info/ca...

  4. If it is on a public street, it has to be registered and insured.  If it is in your driveway, it doesn't have to be insured.  Of course, if it is torched by vandals, or stolen and wrecked, it is just plain gone, no other coverage will pay for it.
