  1. yes - +61 and drop the 0 in front.

    so +614XXXXXXXX

  2. Yes you need to add +61 and drop the 0 i.e. +61 414 234 567

From a landline you will need to use 0061

Be advised that even with global roaming you will be paying around 50-75c for an sms and over $3 a minute for calls, they can call you for a little over $1 a minute though.

  3. From Fiji, you need to call 00 (the IDD prefix)  first and then the Country Code for Australia which is 61, then the mobile number.

So it's 00 61 then the mobile number with no 0 in front.

And you will also need to have International Roaming enabled - contact your mobile carrier to arrange this.

  4. You ever noticed when you receive text messages on your phone, that is if you're in Australia, you see this as their number?

    +614XXXXXXXX

You need to add 61 and drop the 0 before starting from their second number and so on.
