Do i need itunes for downloading stuff on my ipod touch?

like do i need it for music video ect....will albums still show like in the commercials when you scroll through them

you need itunes but if you want too spend a lot of money im pretty sure that on the ipod touch theres the itunes store on it so you could buy a gift card than get wi fi on your i pod touch if you go too a place like starbucks or anywhere where they offer free internet connection than you could download off it there i think im not sure but its worth a try
