Do i need more postage for a forever stamp now?

This is confusing to me...I have a first class envelope with a forever stamp on it..Is this good enough?

  1. yes...the thought was for people to buy in bulk these stamps as one stamp will always equal one ounce of first class postage.


  2. The Forever Stamp is always worth however much the First Class rate is [Currently, $0.42]. If you paid $0.41 for your Forever Stamps, they will now be worth $0.42. As postal rates increase, so will the value of you Forever Stamps.

  4. Yes.  It's a "Forever" stamp because it's good for first class postage "forever" no matter how much the price of a first class stamp increases.

  5. The forever stamp costs the same as regular postage.  I like the idea because it eliminates the need for penny stamps when rates increase, which we know will happen with the PO's high cost of fuel.
