Do i need more protein?

I want to start power lifting people tell me i should eat or drink lots of protein. I was just wondering do power lifters need allot of protein to or is it just for body builders.

  1. Both need a lot. Try to get your body weightx1.5 grams of protein. So if you weight 200 pounds, have 300 grams of protein a day. Not all in the same meal, break it up inbetween 5-6 small meals. You should be eating every 2-3 hours, but small meals and all with protein in them
