  1. No, but take it as a form of ID anyway as Im sure you will need some.

  2. "No there are no immigration checks between the Eire and the UK. "

Not half! Bring your passport. Depending on how you look, you will either be waved through or taken aside for a grilling. I'm asked for my passport about 4 times out of 5.

  3. In theory no, but they won't let you through security without some form of photoID.  Do you want to risk trying to argue your way through with your Driving Licence when there are 200 impatient Kerrymen in the queue behind you?  (If you're from Kerry - read Corkmen)

  4. No if you are an Irish/UK citizen

If you are an EU citizen (Spain, France...) you need your National ID

  5. no i dont think so

  6. no

  7. yes cause you need a passport to go on a ferry to get to wales other wise you wont be able to travel on a ferry from ireland to wales im from wales

  8. No there are no immigration checks between the Eire and the UK.

  9. No.  I've done it and you don't need any ID

  10. No - you don't need photo ID either.  That's only needed when you travel by plane.

  11. in theory you shouldn't need it for northern ireland but southern ireland you will, but i really would take it just in case, better to be safe than stuck in the ferry port

  12. Probably not, but take it anyway! better safe than sorry!
