  1. Get spikes.

I'm going into High School and they said that's what you need for Track.

    They help tons.

  2. they help a lot, especially at a distance as short as the 100

  3. spikes help alot but you don't need them for mediocre levels of competition

  4. Yes, spikes will help a ton.  They are actually required on my team.  They are lighter and help you grip the ground better.  So yes, do get spikes.

  5. they will if the ground you are running on is soft. e.g grass or that thing that is uber small and that i cant name.

if on concreate it will slow yooh down and it is requiered as a rule if yooh are running pro.

  6. Yes, spikes aid you in running on your toes to create more drive and momentum.  Just putting them on makes you feel faster, haha.  But seriously invest in some good sprinting spikes because you will definitely feel the difference!

  7. GET SPIKES. You will feel the difference since you will be running on your toes since the tension from running on it lets you spring forth and make you go faster. They become like your best friend.

  8. yes spkies are nessary especally to improve your time make sure you run on your toes to and get spikes just for distances under 400m
