Do i need the credit card i bought the tickets?

I'm 17 years old I'm flying out of american airlines to dallas and then to NY. A good friend of the families bought the ticks with her card and i payed her back and all that jazz. ANyway, do i need her credit card to use the self check in?

Nope.  In order to use the self check in for AA, you need to swipe a credit card, passport, or drivers license with a magentic strip (any of these must have the passengers name) in order to proceed with check in.  I'm guessing your a resident of Texas, so your drivers license should work (I could be wrong, been a long time since I lived there!) Even if you can't use the check in kiosks, you can check in with an agent.  No worries.

    ***EDIT***

    It will check you in for one way.  When you check in for your return, it will issue boarding passes for all legs on the return portion of your trip.  Have a good trip!
