  1. all i do is get a big flat pan and fill with bout an inch of water than offer it to my cockatiel. if it wants to it will bath itself. if not u cant make it.

  2. if you want to bath your cocktail than get a spray bottle and spray it but make sure there's no sop in it like just clean it with water but clean it good

i have a little bath for my budgies and they like to go in it well one of them dose the other one i spray both of them because they like the mist and its funny wan they shack there heads anyway try this and you cant make them take a bath if they don't wat to but they have to

    ADD: ladycock is right too

  3. NO!! actually its not good to cuz they can get sick very easily and die. they need to stay warm!!

  4. Not at all, the best way to bathe one would be to get a squirt bottle and spray them once a day to keep them clean.

  5. i think talking a spray bottle and fill it with warm water and spraying the bird works better that actually giving them a bath in a sink or bathtub. young cockatiels get scared and try to fly often or just try to get away from the running water. leave the tiel in the cage and just spray him until he's or she is damp. they don't need to be soaked they just need enough to get all the dirt out that makes their skin all itchy and sometimes irritated. and i think most actually prefer it. hope it helped :)

  6. i dont think you need to, unless hes really dirty. but i found that for older cockatiels, if you spray a water bottle ,or light hose, they like to shower in it.
