  1. No, not at all.  Anyone with the money, or credit, can purchase real estate in the United States.  However, I must tell you, owning property will not assist you in gaining permanent residence in the United States.

The USA, like Oz, is a huge place.  Where to live depends on your taste.  Do you want to live in the mountains or on the coast?  Do you mind cold, snowy winters or do you want mild winters?  Can you take the heat of the Southwest?

What's your budget?  A $1,000,000 home on the ocean in California can be had for less than $200,000 in South Carolina... right on the ocean.

I've heard of the TV show Desperate Housewives but I've never watched it.  I have no idea what it's about.

  2. I don't believe you need to be an American to buy property here.  Good luck.

  3. You don't have to be American to buy property, but you have to be a resident to get a mortgage (just went through it with my husband who is a perm res) or participate in certain mortgage programs. just don't forget you have to pay yearly taxes. Delaware is a nice place to live.

  4. No as long as you have the money and the credit.

  5. I think all you need is to be legal.

  6. NO
