  1. If you take a car then it must be insured and pass a safety inspection.


  2. No.

    That wouldn't be possible anyway. You can't be covered for driving accidents unless you have a license to drive and you need a valid license number to be put on any insurance policy.

  3. check with your state DMV

    In Texas you need to bring in proof of insurance as obviously you'll be driving something and need to show it's insured.

    Just went with my son to get his permit and they asked for it.

  4. If you are required for some reason to take a driving test, you must bring a vehicle to drive. You will have to show proof that the vehicle is insured according to state law.

    If you do not have to take a driving test, you won't need proof of insurance.  

  5. If you are speaking of your drivers license, the answer is no.
