No, it comes with everything you need. Unless you only have the option to play it wirelessly, then you'd have to buy the wireless wifi. Other then that no your all set.

If you have a broadband internet connection and a router then that is all you need. Cables and such are included with your 360.

No you do not have to pay anything because the Elite comes with an Ethernet cord(cable) and a month of free Xbox Live Gold if it's like your first time using it.

you can buy the starter packs (12 month subscription + headset) for about £40

you can buy subscription cards from local games dealers for 3 months or 12 months, or www.play.com is brilliant

alternatively, you can buy a subscription off the xbox live marketplace, all you need is a credit/debit card

go onto your silver account, find account management and there should be a "subscription" option, here you can upgrade to gold membership

yes to play multiplayer on xbox you need to get xbox live gold. You can get a year card for about £35-£40. Or you can get 3 month ones and 1 month ones i think. But you dont need gold to go on the internet you need silver to go on the internet and marketplace and stuff. Silver comes free forever on all xboxs.
