Do i need to change my license plate while doing an internship in another state?

i live in indiana, and right now i'm doing an internship in illinois until the beginning of august. i will be going back to indiana for school in mid-august. so i was wondering if i had to change my license plate.

  2. Nope! BUT if you get pulled over, have something saying that you are just an Intern and that you are only in Illinois until you are done with that program.

  3. Most states require you to reregister your car and drivers license within 30 days of a PERMANENT relocation. Since you are residing in illinois temporarily, and have plans to return within 60 days, you should be fine.

  4. No. If your permanent residence is still in Indiana, you do not need to change anything. Your car should be registered  in the state of your primary (and permanent) residence.

  5. No.  Only if you're moving there on a permanent basis.

  6. No you don't. Only if you will be a full time resident, permanent. You're ok
