  1. It's okay to use your passport in your maiden name.Airlines will only issue ticket for what is the name printed on the passport.Since you are already a temporary resident or green card holder you can bring along with you your marriage license or certificate to show to the Immigration the transition of your maiden name to married name when they compare the passport to your green card.I'm also intending to have my passport amended soon to my married name in the Philippine Consulate in Washington. If you are interested you can browse their website and send inquiries. You might as well report your marriage too if you haven't done it yet.The website is http://www.philippineembassy-usa.org/hom... .

  2. You definitly was to check with immigration in regard to wether it is to early to leave the US. You may have to file something in order to go. But if they OK and you have that covered........

My wife has never gotten around to changing her passport and we travel often. I usually book her using my last name. The airlines and security have no issues.

What you will need to have is an official copy of your marriage license on you. That is what everybody asks for. It is standard practice and no big deal. This happens all of the time.

  3. As long as you bring ID along for both names (to show the change), like your marriage certificate (I think it shows both single and married names) you should be fine.  Also check with INS (immigration people) to make sure you  don't need 'Advanced Parole' or authorization to leave the country.  If you are still awaiting your I-485 (adjustment of status) leaving the country might indicate abandoning your application for a green card.
