Do i need to covert my dvd?

Question

i have downloaded films of torrent, but will i need to convert them to make them playable on a standard dvd player? if i was to burn them on to a dvd-r? doesnt matter what format they are?

ConvetXto DVD is an excellent program, but you may not need to convert.

Check and see if your DVD player is DivX compatible.  If it is then any DivX/XviD movies can be burned directly to disc without conversion and will work.  This burn only takes a few minutes compared to over an hour to convert and burn.

Also check and make sure which type of discs can be used for DivX/Xvid (if your player is compatible) as mine will only play on CD-R discs.
