Do i need to download itunes???

Question

I bought an ipod recently.....and i would like to know if it is a MUST that i have to download itunes to put music on my ipod?

is there a way that i can put music from limewire on it? how?

what about playlist.com?

is there anything other than itunes i can use to put music on my new ipod?

ps i put it in this section because i know that teens know this kinda stuff.

I have ipod and I had to download itunes. Because I had to pay limewire and I don't have credit card. I did try to get away with it but of course had to pay when it says it free.. playlist I don't know about..

Yes, stupid apple makes you put it on your computer.

I'm pretty sure you have to have Itunes, but I know there is a way to put things you download on limewire into your Itunes library.

Not so sure about playlist.com.

You can but their is other programs that take up less space. Like Winamp or SongBird! Hope I helped.

have both limewire and itunes open

adn when your download for you song is complete  drag the song to itunes

if you're going to use limewire, then yes, you do need itunes. if not, you will have to buy the songs just off of itunes. to get the songs onto itunes, you have to go into your shared music folder then right click on the songs and click open with--> itunes, and it will come up.

and no, it doesn't harm your computer in any way. just make sure you have enough memory to download it. =)
