Do i need to fill out a w4 form?

i finally got a job and tomorrow is my first day of training and the manager said that i have to fill out a w4 form. do i need to fill one? im 17 years old and i never had a job. and if i do, how do i fill one out?

Yes, fill out lines 1-4, and just put zero on line 5, and sign it.

Once you start working, you will need to fill out all kinds of forms.

The W-4 is one of them.  Just follow the instructions, and you'll be OK.  Since you are single, you can put down only 1 deduction.

Another thing to remember is to bring along your passport or SSN card.  You have to fill a I-9 form as well, to show eligibility to work in the US.

If they are going to pay you, then YES you need to fill one out for sure. Grab one from IRS website and it should not take you too long to fill it out
