Do i need to get more paper work for travelling?

im flying to south africa on the 28 of april from the usa do have apermanent resident card and south african passport do i need a visa or can i just use my resident card

Ok...your run-on sentence is  difficult to understand.  If you have a South African passport, you must be a citizen of South Africa.  In that case, you do NOT need a visa to enter South Africa...you NEVER need a visa to enter your OWN country.  When you return to the U.S., just show your passport and permanent resident card to enter the U.S.  You do not need a visa to enter the U.S.
