Do i need to go personally in china just to get or apply my police clearance?

as u had answered my question about getting the police clearance in china,i'd like to know,and how would i know if my visa was J1,Z or x category,do i belong to that visa category?Pls.! i need ur clear answer for me here,so i would know exactly what to do..and do i realy need to go to china again to get that police clearance?Pls.! help me..

First, learn to write in complete, whole sentences in some form of Standard English so that people can understand you.  Next, look in your passport at your old visa: what category does it say?  After that, make an appointment at a Chinese Consulate or the Embassy to fill out the forms for a police record check - you should be able to do the check through them.  Ask them what paperwork they need.  Take it.
